Meet Emma

Hi there! I am Emma, lead designer and owner of Stems by Em. I love the fast paced work of weddings and events, and getting to see a beautiful final product fills my cup. It is a huge honor to have clients trust me to design for some of life’s biggest events.

The small-but-mighty SBE team works out of my home studio in Fayetteville, AR, where I live with my husband, our precious new son, and goldendoodle. Inspired by my grandmother who was a florist, I have spent 8+ years fine-tuning my color palette crafting, design skills, and eye for a cohesive end result.

There is magic in the ephemeral beauty of flowers. Every little bloom points to their Creator, and I hope to help them shine through each client’s vision. The SBE team desires to be a source of joy, celebration, and connection for everyone we work with.

“This is my Father’s world, And to my listening ears
All nature sings, and round me rings the music of the spheres.
This is my Father’s world: I rest me in the thought
Of rocks and trees, of skies and seas– His hand the wonders wrought.

This is my Father’s world: The birds their carols raise,
The morning light, the lily white, Declare their Maker’s praise.
This is my Father’s world: He shines in all that’s fair;
In the rustling grass I hear Him pass, He speaks to me everywhere.

This is my Father’s world: O let me ne’er forget
That though the wrong seems oft so strong, God is the Ruler yet.
This is my Father’s world: Why should my heart be sad?
The Lord is King: let the heavens ring!
God reigns; let earth be glad!”
